It’s official: the new Pantone color of the year is ultra violet! The spiritual, cosmic…
Was your New Year’s Resolution to take better care of your skin? Or is your skin just begging for some extra hydration this winter? Either way, with dropping temperatures comes drier skin and we’re here to let you in on a few of our favorite products to keep your skin glowing year-round.
Keep your skin hydrated and happy with these winter skin hacks:
Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask– If there is one product I can’t recommend enough, it’s this “mask”. Summer Friday’s Jet Lag mask contains vitamins, ceramides, antioxidants, and gently exfoliating extracts to quench thirsty, stressed skin. You can apply this as a mask and wipe off the excess after 10 minutes, or you can leave it on as an overnight mask. If I am not using this as a mask, I use it nightly as a rich under-eye cream, moisturizer or an ultra-hydrating primer. This product does it all.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask– It is so easy to forget about the lips, but they are usually one of the first places to show dehydration. When your daily chapstick just isn’t cutting it, take your routine one step further with this Berry leave-on lip mask that will leave you with the softest lips you’ve ever had. If berry isn’t your thing, this mask also comes in Vanilla, Grapefruit and Apple Lime. Buy now and thank us later on this one.
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter – Josie Maran’s Body Butter is the holy grail of body butter- and trust me when I say, I’ve tried A TON. This particular butter is made of 100% pure whipped argan oil made to nourish your skin with essential fatty acids and antioxidants. My favorite part though? It is not the slightest bit sticky and absorbs into the skin as fast as you put it on. Lather your body in this during the winter and you’ll see your glowy, summer skin last a lot longer.
Bio-Oil – Okay so this one is not necessarily a new product, but it’s too good to keep off of the list. Not only does Bio-Oil hydrate skin, but it also improves the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tones – and who doesn’t love a good multi-tasker?
B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum- I don’t know about you, but even just the name screams winter must-have and I can confirm it does not disappoint. This serum is the perfect addition to your current skincare routine when your skin is feeling dull or dry. It packs a punch formulated with pro-vitamin B5 and pineapple ceramide. If you need one more reason to love it, Drunk Elephant is also part of Sephora’s Clean Beauty initiative.
