And just like that, another Pride Month has come and gone! June being Pride Month always brings lots of exclusive Pride-branded products to purchase and collect, but there are plenty of LGBTQ+ beauty brands to support all year long to make any day you have full of Pride. Whether you’re shopping for sophisticated haircare from celebrity stylists or super colorful makeup from the world’s best drag queens and makeup artists…

These are some of our favorite LGBTQ+ beauty brands to support all year long!

Love is Loving the Skin You’re In

There are so many skincare brands these days that focus on taking gender out of the formula and putting full focus on anyone loving the skin they’re in. Brands like Allies of Skin and its younger sister brand PSA (Purposeful Skincare by Allies) were founded by Nicolas Travis as a way to help others experiencing the same anxieties about identity and skin’s appearance as a teenager. The products are great for any and all skin types  From Nicolas Travis on the Allies of Skin site: “I’ve always found the word ‘allies’ to be very powerful. Life is so much better when you’re surrounded by people who have your back.”

David Yi’s Good Light continues this genderless skincare trend with clean and cruelty-free products being a priority to Good Light.  From their website: “Good Light is beauty beyond the binary.”

The well-known Malin+Goetz was founded by the “First Couple of Grooming,” as dubbed by GQ in 2013, Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz. With nearly 20 years in the business, the brand has expanded from skincare for sensitive skin to hair and body and home goods.

Vernon Francois Hair, founded by Francois, is perfect for anyone with curls and coils. Having worked with stars like Serena Williams and Lupita Nyong’o, Francois has the expertise and knowledge for premium haircare for textured hair.

Drag Up Your Makeup Bag

Although still relatively new to the game, Freck Beauty has left its mark pretty quickly. Natural-looking freckles can be applied in seconds using their original freckle pen, the Freck OG, but the line has since expanded to create the Freck XL, more makeup, and a skincare line.

It’s fair to say we all grumble a bit at different celebrity beauty brand drops, whether it be our own feelings about the celebrity or our doubts on the brand’s success. Kim Chi was one of the first of the RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni to debut a makeup brand back in 2019, but since launching, KimChi Chic Beauty’s products have received rave reviews from fans for their quality in helping to inspire wild makeup looks like those of the brand’s founder.

Just like the brand of dolls of her childhood from which she took her name, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Trixie Mattel’s Trixie Cosmetics launched in 2019 with fun iridescent glitters, pigmented blush palettes, and cute accessories like the heart-shaped hand mirror. The packaging is vibrantly 90s and nostalgic, making you feel as if you’re painting on a look in your own Barbie Dreamhouse.
